Bombur was a Dwarf who was a member of Thorin and Company on the Quest of Erebor in TA 2941. He was the brother of Bofur and cousin of Bifur.

- Bombur was portrayed by Stephen Hunter in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, The Desolation of Smaug, and the upcoming The Battle of the Five Armies.
- In the film trilogy, Bombur hardly had any lines, but simply limited to shouts and pants, but in the first film he said only two lines. If the subtitles are on when viewing the films, Bombur's few spoken lines are brief but apparent.
